Looking for some help. We have 4 chickens all get along. We noticed the other day one of them had a what looked like growth on the outside of the corner of her beak.. there was never a problem with them until we applied blue-kote to area. After it was applied one of the chickens went right after her and pecking at her. We separated them. The growth has almost disappeared. Has this happened to anyone?
Thanks for the feedback

Hello, and welcome to BYC. Chickens tend to peck at 'spots'. Whereas a large area covered with Blu Kote might be ignored, the spot by her beak attracted attention. Glad that she is improving.

I've found that blukote can actually attract pecking attention.
Are you sure there was a growth?
Always good to get pics of things that need IDing.

Yes there was a growth looked like a canker sore or something like that and for got to get a picture. It worked but I think she’s not feeling well. Just not herself. I’m keeping an eye out for her.
