If the girls have to be up during a bad rain spell we have tied pears/apples/grapes/watermelon slices to the rafters of their coops. We have quite a few that are adapt at spearing moving objects now!

Hang a cabbage or a head of lettuce in the run, a 'sandbox' if they can't go outside to dustbathe, a shallow pan with dirt and 'hidden' black oil sunflower seeds....
