So this little chicken blew in with a storm not sure who it belongs to so i have made him or her a place in our old very large dog pen. I would like to get a few more in the upcoming months. This is tame you can pick it up with no issues. At night I put the chicken in a xl dog crate until I can rework the old coop. What breed do you think it is? I thought it was a hen fingers crossed it is. But this morning it crowed but it wasn’t a very good crow it wasn’t like mature roosters crow.

The tail feathers remind me of my Phoenix’s tail feathers, or maybe an Asian Black.. I’m new to this, I’m sure someone here will know for sure! Very pretty bird whatever he/she is! :love

It's crow will get better with time, in the begging they sound awful and quite hilarious all at the same time! Maybe that's the reason it's no longer at it's previous home, some people ditch roosters due to them not wanting one. Many people don't want to take them so people don't even try to re-home them

Hoping you're happy with your storm chicken! Looks like maybe he blew into the right home.
