Chicken blinders and a game hen

ok i've been searching the internet for a while and have found some useful information, but i still have questions. i've seen a lot of people saying chicken blinders work great for aggressive chickens, but how long do you leave it on? how often do you need to clean it? how long before you need to buy another?
i have a rhode island red chicken that's three years old, a black game hen(i think...) that's two years old, and a white leghorn that's 16weeks old. they have been out together for about two weeks now and the rhode island red gets along fairly well with my leghorn(lets her go in the coop), but the game hen chases her and refuses to let her go in the coop. i'm assuming since it's a game hen it's naturally a bit more aggressive, but i don't know much about chickens except that they're all cute so they need to get along.

I have two small sisters that I think are game hens ... they are pretty frisky too they only finally settled down when I got a roo. Now they are nice to everyone. NOW I HAVE Mrs Fatty pants, WHOLE Is A br, and she's so bossy she picks on the roo when he tries to do his thing with the other girls, and usually wins. He's like 2 years old and all my girls are about 7 or 8 months, give or take.
