Chicken Books Anyone?

Hello all,
I've been on a serch and have so far turned up empty handed. I'm looking for novels or chapter books that star chickens. Preferably realistic with little or no human interaction. I do like "civilized" animals though too, as long their civilizations are close to Medieval Ageish. So, if you have any suggestions please comment! Thanks!

Thanks! And yeah, kinda desperate lol. Since all I've found is PILES of rabbit books that fit my description but lack chickens.
