He should be quite a bit smaller than a Jersey Giant but he does appear to be a fine big boy.

I'd hate to see him mounting my tiny little bantams it looks like my Easter egger quashes them when he does it so I'd hate to see him do it to the, but they are all fine

He mounts my Cochin bantams but none of their eggs r fertile so I think he is to big for them.

Well there eggs are fertile so I geuss he gets the job done he is the best rooster I have ever had

Well I don't know weather to try and get the silkies from tractor supply or find them from a breeder I just don't know we're to find a breeder does anyone know a breeder in pa near me that breeds silkies

Ok well I went to tractor supply today and the guy and my mom was telling me that the breed of theses chicks are called bantams I kept telling them there is no such breed but they wouldn't stop and because of that I was not allowed to get any which ruined my day they just had to argue with the chicken whisper so here is what they looked like are these silkies thanks

Easy to tell, the silkies have five toes. When I got mine last yr I asked only for the ones with five toes, they looked at me like I had three eyes, then 'oh my gosh, there is some with five toes!'
I'm a big fan of TSC silkies. They came into lay faster than any chicken I've ever had, and lay extremely well, good size eggs also. Carcass size is good also, my rooster was six pounds live weight. They are really friendly also. If you don't plan on showing silkies TSC one's are great. Breeder quality lay small eggs and are known not to be good layers, just cute pets.

Well they were to be for a breeding pen and I was hoping to find a breeder if I could so they weren't from hatcherys but I will settle for what I have and maybe later down the road get a few show quality silkies for more people to maybe be interested but I only wanted silkies because they are calm birds and I don't really care about production I already have so many eggs in the fridge I don't know what to do with so they are calling my name I think I am just going to get a few and see how I like them and if I don't like them I will sell them and find a breeder and maybe have them shipped to me but that might be a while I might just wait and see how I like them but I think I am just going to see how I like them
