Yes, it's a boy. I have 3 more that I would sell to you, if you were over here. I'm getting out of doing them. Two are roos, 1 blue 1 black. Then I have the Splash hen, too.

I will have to re-home him as I live in Sydney's Inner West and you are not allowed to keep roosters. He is turning out to be very handsome, those pics are two weeks old so looks even more like a boy now.

Excellent breed, very good in low density feed and harsh conditions.

A black australorp rooster over barred plymouth rock hens creates black sex links.

Try to train yourself into vent sexing practices.

Normally, when you order them, they've been vent sexed. I don't recommend doing it yourself though. You can do more harm that good, not knowing what you're doing.
