I have two black rosecomb bantams, a male and a female. I have them because they are just beautiful, don't take up too much space, and are full of personality. Mine LOVE to fly and perch up high, and are very friendly! My roo has a clear and beautiful crow, and he crows CONSTANTLY! Here is a picture of my roo when he was 8 weeks old and a picture of him a few days ago at 14 weeks!

Lol these pictures didn't come out as well as I hoped...but the first one is my hen who just had to shake her head the very moment the camera snapped (her rosecomb is very flat and black because she's a hatchery chick, and we all know how hatcheries breed..) and the next pictures are my roo, with a camera bomb from my ayam cemani hens

I have had a few Rosecombs in my time. See my profile pic. They actually won many champions for my kids at the fair.
They are very sensitive birds though. And don’t like to be moved much. Our last 3 died because we moved them outside to enjoy the grass. The male got so anxious and upset he just croaked and the females I think died of loneliness. They refused to eat. It was crazy. And happened so fast.
