Chicken breeds

Hi, I'm raising laying hens and I have a question . I started with black stars /sex link chicks, but i'm planning introduccing "hybrid" hens like hy lyne,babcock brown etc. my question is : is there a problem between crossing black stars (tought they are not a official breed but they descend from ones) or any pure breed and "hybrid" hens??

no problem, they will just be what is known as a "barnyard mix"

Your sex-linked is already a cross breed not an actual breed so your on the right track, especially if you wish for a chicken that grows like crazy, lays eggs everyday and can easily determine sex by the color of their down as chicks. They are beautiful chickens.
