Chicken breeds????

As you know chicks are here! I currently have Rhode Island Red, ISA Browns, and Cinnamon QUEENs. This year I want a variety of chickens but good layers! They must lay at least six eggs a week. I live in Charleston South Carolina...so they must be heat hardy! I will see if Tractor Supply has the breeds that you recommend.

Very few dual purpose breeds are that productive. And the chances of tsc having the breeds anyone suggests are slim.

Amberlink, Production of any kind, & Leghorn would be your best bet of breeds I’ve seen at TSC that you don’t have yet.
