Chicken breeds

I like bantams but i have heard the eggs are really small but i don't want a big chicken, as i have little space. Is there a medium sized chicken suitable for a 3.5m2 area. And any other info would be very helpful

Bantams do lay small eggs but they aren't too small.

Welcome to BYC from Ohio! I have Seramas and I love them but their eggs are tiny. Maybe you could try a bigger bantam like a Wyandotte or Brahma?

leghorns are known to be skittish, but they do handle confinement fairly well

Leghorns are more of a medium sized bird and they are egg laying machines.
