Hi all- looking for a little advice. We are new chicken owners and built a good size run and are working on the coop. The coop will stand about 3.5 feet from the run and will require us to build an inclosed "bridge" for the girls to get from one to the other. Does anyone have a set up like this that they could show pictures of? Or have any advice about how big the bridge/tunnel should be? I was thinking it should be at least 12x12? Or bigger so 2 hens could pass each other?TIA!

I think the biggest issue would be access, you would need ramps up to both ends of a brigde. I would assume taking about a bridge your looking at doing something you can possibly walk under?

I would think 12x12 would be fine for 1 hen but if you have 2 going opposite directions it might need to be at least 18in wide for then to pass comfortably. Plus fully included so they don't jump down into the yard.

I'm trying to picture this and my only solution with be a chicken tunnel with a people bridge over that.
