Chicken Cam from Northern California

Nah, that's typical IR view. I have a couple cameras in my coop; color video in the daylight, that look for night-time video. Audio 24/7.

I wish I could put my video on the 'net but I don't have the right set-up, and the video I get is from a baby monitor system.

I guess I'll be lurking on wasauce's video feed a lot!

For the secons video, the laying box, I love the barred rocks. It seems like being in a house with seven people and only one bathroom, "Come on Red! There are other chickens that have to go!!!"

Aww they're sleeping

that's cute

Glad you guys are enjoying it!

Please keep playing with it and have at it -- move the camera as you wish.

As a quick description of the setup:
* wifi router
* foscam fi8918w IP Camera (purchased here: http://www.amazon.com/Foscam-FI8918W-Wireless-Network-Viewing/dp/B0046710G6)
*
A long extension cord run out to the coop to power the camera and a light for the winter

We have a small run and a large (too large) coop for our 11 birds. We let the birds free range a fair amount and in the run have a food bucket and a watering bucket.
In the coop we have 3 nesting/laying boxes, and the wood perch where they sleep. We also have an ikea light that is on a timer set to go off about 4 in the morning.
