So I realized that I've been looking at the whole security cam systems for about 2 years now (on and off) and now.... Now? Yes, Now I can expand the possible usefulness.

I'm looking at this from 2 POV.
1) Access from in-house network: app/cell phone/desktop inside the house
2) while away from home via app in phone or PC at the lake house. (And vice versa see around the lake house from here.

Any personal real world knowledge will always be appreciated.

FWIW for my near future plans, because we currently have both sites on a DSL connection as that is our only realistic limitation.

I access the arlo cameras via app from anywhere I am, home or otherwise.
