chicken can’t walk properly

yesterday one of my hens was almost paralyzed she couldnt walk or even stand up she just layed down with her legs stretched back but she was eating and drinking when i got feed next to her
i thought she could be egg bound so i gave her an espsom salt bath dried her up and let her rest
today she’s standing up but can’t walk properly (she’s limping hard) she takes a few steps and then falls down and stays there
what might be her problem and what should i do ?

The fact that she's showing some improvement is a good thing. Get your hands on her and give her a good inspection. Isolate her in a crate, keep her warm and dry. Offer her food and water. She may enjoy a treat of scrambled eggs. Monitor her poop for blood. Give her a day or so to see if she continues to improve. If not she may need a visit to a vet.

I had a hen who acted like that, but her symtpoms came on over the course of months (almost a year). Is it possible she has Marek's disease?

How did things turn out for your hen? Mine is acting this way too and I am about to do the epson salt bath…
