I'm very sorry that you are having trouble finding someone to help. Some states do not seem to have a strong agricultural lab for these types of things.

It seems like we have many resources for other farm animals just not poultry... I appreciate the link....

We all have things going on in our lives. Do the best you can with what you have, no one can ask for more. If you can only administer the Tylan50 once a day, extend your days given to 7 instead of 5.

Well I finally was able to reach a vet 3 hours away... after calling a dozen local vets one prescribed tetracycline based on the other drs findings. It's not easy getting help with poultry... the chicken should be ok, hopefully. I'll keep you posted. Thanks for all the help.

I hope it helps your hennie. Please keep us posted! In the future you can also look for an avian vet if you can't find a poultry one.
