Why was she roaming around the house? I know this is stressful and this probably doesn't help;, but you REALLY can't let young chicks wander freely, or....THIS could happen.

No, no. I don't blame you for for that. I've had chicks do the same. Eeek! It's always a bit frightening, because there's a risk of stuff like this, right? But it's probably going to be fine.
