This made me snort my own coffee up my nose....no, it wasn't starbucks.

Here is my email to these people:

To the designers of the chicken coop:
Did you people do ANY research into that design or did you do it for those spoiled people in Manhattan?? I am a Civil/Structural/Mechanical Designer in South Carolina, and I raise poultry. First of all, none of you get it. Chicken poo acid can warp your acrylic and/or ruin it by those stains permanently. Also in this intense heat, that acrylic will scorch the chickens. There is no room to promote healthiness, and the cleaning tray is too shallow. You better think up a better idea that “food and water bowls”. The chickens will scatter it everywhere. 550 lbs? Not very mobile! Do you really think the chickens will sit in the nesting boxes ALL DAY? They won’t, and they will perch on the third floor and anything underneath them will be besmirched with poo because they don’t have any bladder or bowel control.
You must have made it for one spoiled person, because EVERYONE in the poultry raising business is laughing at you like the makers of the Noog. Doubt you will sell more than 2. Maybe in your Co-op coop 2.0, take my advice or better yet buy my design.

Not trying to burst your bubble, but do research. We in this business have to do research in our designs, otherwise it will fail.

Gabriel

Sound good? A general "grab a clue" email.

People with that kind of money shouldn't be allowed to spend it. There will actually be a few morons though who will buy those things, have fun with their baby chicks for *maybe* a week, and then hire someone else to take care of the birds and the coops after that. And that Nogg thing! A tree was wasted to make that non-functional, useless eyesore?! And there was someone dumb enough to write anything *good* about it too?!

ya know.. some people think it is better if it is super expensive. Why buy the coop for $500 when you can buy a terrible one that looks weird for $4k The wierd, modern one must be the "in" thing so.. LET'S BUY IT! ...and, it was on TV too? .. wow.. now, we really have to get it. yeah, what's going to happen when the poop gets on all that glass

I take it back. .these people aren't morons at all. They are new age geniuses and are capitalizing off of this new trend by catering to the needs of these rich NY types that are constantly battling with one another to have the newest and the most expensive thing... even if it's a
