Chicken constantly in & out of coop in daytime...Why??

had one of both , 1 just didn't like anything changed in the coop so gonna try deep litter in there, the other that did that for almost a month then went broody on me , think she was just waiting for me not to be watching as she stole a corner in the tool area that is attached to the coop

Very interested in this thread as we have a chicken at Pol that is doing exactly this Running in and out of the coop she no longer sleeps in.... she did however use to sleep in there with her hatch brother who unfortunately we had to move on which really upset us all .... she's a Lavander Aracouna and do was he and funnily enough we called her Lady LaLa and him RooLaLa.
I have 3 theories....
1 she is looking for him still as they were very bonded or
2 she's coming into lay and working out what to do or
3 LaLa by name and nature
Any thoughts pls
