Chicken coop designs

This is my first time having chickens, and i am raising my Rhode Island red chicks right now. I am 4x8 sheets of plywood and 1x2s, and chicken wire. I have been struggling with many different kind of designs. I made a nice two story design but it is two complicated. I would really appreciate any plans for a very simple coop to hold around 5-10 chickens?

A simple box-type coop would be very simple to make.
Try looking at these coop pages to see if you can get some good ideas.

ok it helps some but i couldn't find one that was really just very simple for my chickens

I made this with some leftover plywood and 2x4's.
It's pretty simple.

that coop looks nice and very simple. how do you get the eggs out of it and did u use chicken wire as fencing?

For the eggs I use a round planter similar to the one in my photo below.
They lay their eggs inside the planter and I grab them out of the planter.
I use the 1/4inch hardware wire on this coop since it's outside.
My dogs would pull apart any chicken wire.

Ok that is a good idea I was looking to use better fending too because chicken wire is not that sturdy or thick
