I was really quite proud of it. To get all these positive comments from experienced chicken people, it just makes me prouder Thank you all.

I think the most difficult part of the coop was the run. As we have stray dogs and wild dogs, foxes, coons...ect around here, (also a porcupine? are they a threat to chickens?) I made sure that the fence went 2 feet deep with a 2 x 4 board at the bottom all around filled on with rocks and topped off with dirt. The fence is also a heavy grate(sp?) metal like one would use inside of a wood stove.
