Some plans can be easily adjusted to be bigger. For 20 chickens you need a 100+ sq ft coop and a 200+ sq ft run. I'd recommend building bigger because chicken math!

A shed would be the most straightforward base build for a larger flock. Add in chicken stuff (roost, nests, door, ventilation) and you're good to go. For 20 birds you'd want to aim for 80 sq ft, unless you're in a climate with harsh winters, where birds might not want to go out... in that case, time-and-half that, or even double that amount of space.
