Looks like it's shaping up! I am concerned about the chicken wire though...do you have plans to reinforce it with hardware cloth?

yup have done, we don’t get trash panders here in oz so worst is foxes and snakes. Foxes steer clear of the area due to high density dogs and while we have had pythons they have seemed more interested in the rats, our neighbors on both sides have had chickens for 15 years and no predator attacks so far
