chicken coop

This is our first year having backyard chickens. We have an old camper that used to slide into the back of a pickup that we are going to use as the coop, but they don't like to go into it. Could it maybe be to hot inside for them?

Well, it cant just be a camper on the floor, a lot of people use them as a roof to their coop. i got these from google, but they typicaly look like this. The camper by itself is too small an could be too hot.
