chicken costume pattern

I am looking for a pattern for a chicken costume or even some pictures and ideas on what to do. My son's 4 - H banquet is just before Halloween and the kids' are supposed to wear costumes. He wants to be an Ameraucana rooster. Any advice or ideas would be great, I'm not sure where to start.
