for those tiny fart eggs you may want to let them naturally dry out on their own (it takes a while) then clear coat and just glue on the jewelry findings with something like E6000

Made this last summer to help keep the veggies away from the chickens and ducks!!! all though they help themselves to the strawberries underneath

I just saw a site that they painted a bunch of rocks to look like strawberries... the birds peck the hard "strawberries" and end up leaving the real ones alone... not sure it would work but it might be worth a try. My chicks would eat all the greens down to nothing though...

Something I found interesting... while using hot glue on the eggs... the whole egg shell would get HOT HOT HOT!! Egg shells are great conductors for heat!

I don't have any other chickens pictures scanned, but this one has a quail and cactus wren in it. Those are birds, no?!

Aww thanks BackyardFarmMom, I drew that when we first moved across the country to the southwest desert from Pennsylvania. The landscape and critters were so different from what I grew up in. It became a real inspiration. The poster came out pretty well. I have it framed and on the wall in my little art corner. I love ink and I am so happy you love it too! ^^ Everyone else that has posted here is so talented! Chicken crafts unite! I love those Fairy babies. They are so cute and so are the chicken diapers! If there is one thing I really stink at it is sewing.

I got the chickens around the same time we moved to the desert so they both became my muses for decorating the house.

Sorry for the quality of the photo it was taken on my cellphone. A cow skull wall scroll with black and white feathers inspired by my Dominique hens.

And just a cute photo of one of my Dom hens and the sunset from the backyard. I was having fun with the camera and she was a good lady bird to hold still considering I was holding her over my head with one hand, while I took the picture.
