That is so creative!!! I love it!!!Proud Mama today....
DD's class had to make shoe box dioramas this week. Each student was assigned a scene from the Bible. She got the nativity. She didn't want to re-do TP tubes (that's so last year!) or the well over-done Lego people. She decided on egg people. I taught her how to blow the eggs & helped with the hot glue gun. I think this will be saved & used as our Christmas Nativity set.
Of course, that's if the eggs make it. Our dog has earned the nickname: "the dog who ate Christmas," due to the numerous ornaments, baked goods, & handmade gifts that he has devoured over the years. He is obsessed with eggs. The Nativity scene is already packed in the backseat to keep it safe until morning.
Baby Jesus is a tiny pullet egg.
A few downy feathers were used for misc hair.
The animals were made from egg cartons..... She just had to include a hen. LOL
These two are my favs.

Beautiful!!!I'll hop in. Some of these I've already posted in the polymer clay thread, but since that's buried and I've made some new ones...
Formed around a chicken egg, cooked the clay, then dissolved the egg in vinegar.
Formed around an ostrich egg, cooked it, then broke it apart and glued it back together again minus the egg.
Extruded the clay, formed it around the chicken egg. Random patterns, but I think that one looks like a condor.
Swans on a goose egg.
Included some glass additions, it's actually a bit lighter/brighter than the photo implies, but I'm a horrible photographer.![]()

WOW, simply beautiful!!!! You my dear have talent!!!
I have been looking at all the pages with all the crafts everyone makes and I love them all. I don't get on here often but when I do I'm here all day reading everything. These are some eggs I decorated. The coach is an ostrich egg, the etched brown are my chickens eggs, and the pysanky are my chicken and goose eggs.
Ooh my goodness, how cute are those!!!
