I think that they should make this an official "disorder" for all of us chicken folk!
I came down with a strong case of "chicken crazy" today when my DW and I visited the local feed store for a few supplies. As we walked in we were greeted with the music of hundreds of baby chick peeps! I have to say it was very, very, hard not to pick up a couple dozen more chicks. I currenly only have 2 of my 4 coops stocked! My DW kept reminding me that we were going on vacation the end of the month and it would'nt be fair to expect our house sitter to care for even more animals so common sense ruled the day. I have to say it is going to be rough not having a kitchen full of peepers this year. Thankfully when we get back from vacation the farm my daughter works on is going to be getting a large order of chicks, runners, and turkeys so I will be able to have some new babies later in the year!
