I need to know if there is anything that might happen, my two roosters fought each other through fencing which happened to be rusty and cut each other up pretty bad. combs and wattles both in scabs and dried blood, running through to their necks
My oldest roo will sometimes appear "not totally here" and shakes his head a little then goes on. We've sold the other (we're holding him for 2 weeks) but he is just depressed cause my eldest hen got eaten by dogs and that was his only girl.

Chickens are pretty sturdy creatures. I've had hens that were cut/torn up pretty badly survive just fine with a little help. I've even had a couple of Welsummers we bought that had been torn up by a rooster. I'm talking skin that was ripped and torn on their head and neck so bad I actually had to cut part of it off! After trimming the ripped skin we used blue ointment(Blue Lotion and Purple ointment in some regions) to treat the wounds several times a day. As well as helping heal the wounds,it helps keep other chickens from picking at them.
