Shortly after getting my two pullets (a bantam blue cochin and a Delaware) home, I saw a few poultry lice on them. Parasites freak me out a lot, so I got right on it, and gave them a very small dose of livestock pour-on dewormer (with Ivermectin). I also changed their bedding and dabbed the dewormer around their cage. Today is ten days later, and I treated again (cleaning the cage too), but this time, some of the dewormer did come into contact with my skin for a few minutes. Is that really harmful?

Ash, like from a fire pit of wood stove, just dump a pile on the floor and the chickens will dust themselves. And for internal use some food grade diatomaceous earth mixed with food

I spray Poultry Protector (you can find it in stores like Tractor Supply) In the coop and even on the chickens. They have no lice on them, it really works!!!

Thanks! Do you think that the dewormer I already used took care of the lice?
