Im deeply sadden and little frustrated I don't know what's wrong with my flock outside. First I had four chickens and now sadly i have two. I have been keeping an eye on my other three since the first one died, I didn't really noticed any symptoms with the first chicken who died but the other chicken had dirty bum feather so i thought maybe Coccidiosis. What can i do to keep them healthy?

Can you give some information about the chickens? Age, if they lay eggs or not, what droppings look like, and any other info may be helpful. Did you see any maggots around the vent? What state are you in? Most state vets will perform a necropsy on a freshly dead chicken, if you keep the body cold. Sorry for your loss. Here is a list of state vets:

The chickens are 18 weeks old, the dont lay yet. The chickens dropping that died were water/ loose, but the other two have firm droppings. I did not see any maggots or mice or lice near the vent. I'm in Illinois.

I would keep observing their poops, and make sure that the crops are filling up with food during the day, but emptying overnight. Are the remaining two pullets eating and drinking well, and what do you feed them? Look them over for lice or mites on their skin under the legs and elsewhere.
