my entire flock has a worms outbreak I took one Silkie to the vet and she had a lot of worms. The rest of the flock also has worms. I bought safeguard dewormer for goats but I’m not sure how much to give them. I have silkies in one coop and normal sized chickens in the other, they all have worms. How much of this stuff do I give them. (It has fenbendazole.)

Weight each bird are at least a few of each breed so you have a good estimate on their weight.
Dose each bird straight to the beak.
Worming Chickens—Medicines and Dosing Information
.23 ml per pound per bird.

Did the vet tell you which type of worm they found?
I’ll weigh each bird separately and then give it to them but on the bottle of goat dewormer it says .6ml for 25lbs of goat. But that’s for goats so I’m sure it’s different for chickens. They told me there were a lot of different worms in there but they didn’t tell me which types. There were no tapeworms.
