I have a pigeon who lives outside. I put “pigeon pants” on him when I bring him inside, which is another word for pigeon diapers. Though he doesn’t really like when I put it on him, he acts normal afterward. This is because he doesn’t like being held in general, and in order to put the diaper on I have to hold him still. He will preen his feathers around it, but doesn’t act uncomfortable. What are your opinions on chicken diapers? I have one gorgeous, sweet Sussex named Toola Two (Tarantula 2) who just loves hanging out with me in my home office. She (and the others) poop all over our outdoor living area so I have since reinforced our chicken coop situation so that they can no longer get out , but my sweet Toola misses me, and I miss her. I've seen chicken diapers on another site and am tempted... just for every now and then. Kinda like a field trip for her... Any experience with them anyone?
I also bring my chickens inside, but I don’t use chicken diapers. It would probably be easier to put them on my chickens, since they are more comfortable about being handled. My pigeon is just dramatic.
