Howdy ~

I have been using a chicken diaper for my pet silkie Fancie. It is lined with a plastic sandwich bag. Mine came from Ruth Cahill and is a good value.

I take her many places and her poopy pouch is a sourse of interest to every single person she meets.

This might be a silly question but-how often do you have to change them?

Well, i cut them on a weekend and the next weekend went to sew them up and they were too small! UGH! But I have to cut out more today and make them up! I made a draft yesterday. with raw edges. looks messing (sewing wise) but it worked. let me find a link!

Ok, I'm happy! I got the diaper ordered from mypetchicken.com and it took me quite a while to figure it out. I'm a little slow and my silkie wouldn't stand still so I could get it faster. Anyway, we've been using it for 5 days and it is soooo much better than picking up pooh w/ a tissue. Itty Bitty doesn't really like it as much as I do. At first she didn't know she could walk with it on but she has adjusted.

I bought mine from Ruth too!
Slifer used to wear hers with no problem, but Obelisk was a wreck. She'd try and kick it off...she looked like a can can girl...
