Chicken diapers

Chicken diaper finally came in and after trying it on a bunch of different birds. It seems they have no balance and are unable to walk?

Sounds like they don't know how to walk wearing diapers. It feels so strange to them. Not much different than a puppy trying to escape his first collar.

You may want to contact the seller and see what they say- maybe the measurements were wrong. To be honest it's much more work changing bird diapers than just cleaning up the mess as it happens. My friend has 3 house chickens, and that's what she does. Her house doesn't smell either.

Totally normal... it takes several days or weeks to train them to walk around and be comfortable in a diaper. It feels very unnatural to them at first.

I haven't had a house bird in a few years, but I don't see an issue leaving it on all or most of the day if it's changed often and the bird has been suitably trained to accept it (you don't want to go on a grocery run and come back to find the bird all tangled up in its diaper!). Just make sure it isn't chafing or irritating them anywhere and fits well and you shouldn't have a problem.

I have chicken diapers. They are really handy when I bring them in the house.
