Chicken Diapers???

how old does a chick have to be to wear a diaper? just wondering.....

Old enough that they won't get pasty butt. Mine start as early as 1 week if they are super friendly.

Ok, been diapering my best chick for 3 dsys now. On and off. She hates it!
But at 6 weeks old she poops on everything.
Should I keep trying?

I have a "house chicken" right now. I have 2 different diapers for her. The newest one from My Pet Chicken isn't so great- the inside isn't vinyl like the older style so it isn't easy to clean. She goes outside during the day during nice weather when I can keep an eye on her (she gets chased and picked on). But she will run up to the house and wait by the door to come back inside.
The diapers have been great for her honestly...she got used to them quickly. She loves to spend time with my husband and I and the dogs...especially when I am prepping dinner (she waits for scraps like the dogs) and she likes to lounge on the couch while we watch TV. She was injured and I spent several hundred dollars getting her better....so if she needs to live in my house, then I am okay with it.




She has a pink diaper and a black and white polka dot diaper =)

oh, I love it! My 6 week old house chicken hates the diapers. She just runs backwards and shreaks. It honestly hasn't gotten better. She might have to be an outside chivken. I can't have her pooping everywhere. We just love Maleficent so well. She is the most people friendly of my 6 chicks. I'm bummed. I want a house chicken like you have.
