Chicken disappeared?

This morning my chicken suddenly disappear, there is no trace of anything, no feathers, no footprints, no blood, nothing! It was also pouring rain last night. The coop wasn't closed but the fence around it was. the fence is 5 ft high and i am pretty sure it can't fly over it.

It may have taken some eggs to the nearby woods and went broody.

Some of my chickens could certainly get over a 5 ft Fence.
Did you only have one?
What breed of chicken?
What type of fencing?
Sorry she is lost.

Yea there was only one, this was a chicken fence and this was either a dominique chicken or maran.
