I had read about them dusting in it which could help (along with dirt and sand) and that it would help with any work eggs that may be in the run or coop.I wanted to chime in about two things real quick...

I'd bet both feeds are about the same in calcium(~3-4%)I bought feather fixer from Nature Wise. Their normal food is a brand called Prince mini layer pellets.
