Maybe someone couldn't keep him any longer and tried to place him with other ducks. I hope he makes out okay.

There are actually wild populations of them in Texas and Florida now. But this one was likely dumped or escaped.

Yeah, I dunno, I would be calling animal control just to get the (potentially invasive) little dude relocated back to a farm. It's certainly not an emergency in the sense of anyone's health, though.
