She's only a year old and was vaccinated as a chick.
This is in it initial post, I'm assuming it means she's vaccinated for Mareks. I'm definitely concerned about AI at this point. Was she vaccinated for Mareks disease?

In my unfortunate experience with mold poisoning, it starts of with paralysis (typically the legs and wings) and slowly spreads into the whole body which can take a few days.Mold possibly? That can kill very quickly
Agreed. This is in it initial post, I'm assuming it means she's vaccinated for Mareks. I'm definitely concerned about AI at this point.
Especially with the free ranging, but maybe OP isn't in an area that has tested positive yet.Agreed.
Her comb and wattle are still red like always. No swelling and her eyes are actually really clear when she opens them. She's definitely not got paralysis because she used her feet to let me know to back off.In my unfortunate experience with mold poisoning, it starts of with paralysis (typically the legs and wings) and slowly spreads into the whole body which can take a few days.
AI (Avian Influenza) is going really strong in a lot of areas recently as others have said. Symptoms are gasping, swelling are the head area, discoloration of comb, wattles, and legs, etc. It kills within hours of receiving and spreads quickly. I'm very sorry for you and your poor bird![]()
Vaccinated for that and no AI reported here and she has no symptoms of it.Agreed.
Thats good. May I still ask what state you are in? It is always very very helpful with this kind of thing. Climate, insects, etc, etc are factors which can be determined by knowing your geographical location.Vaccinated for that and no AI reported here and she has no symptoms of it.
It doesn't "usually" affect adult birds. I've never heard if it being a problem for adults. Only young birds I believe.Anyone know anything about coccidiosis? Not an expert on it so I don't know the symptoms very well.
