Chicken eating very well but not able to walk from 3 weeks

I have a chicken, she recently had three baby chicks but all of em died due to mareks. Luckily the chicken survived. But the problem is, she is not able to walk. She eats and drinks very well and doesn't look like she is sick. But she isn't able to walk. Her leg is stuck at one position. Im sure she is healthy but there is not movement in her legs. Please help me. ( Sorry for the bad grammar)

Sounds like she has Mareks too!!!! I’m so sorry!

She probably has Mareks too. Did you have it confirmed or just assume it was Mareks? Another option is botulism if there was any chance the ate moldy feed or maggots that fed on carrion. That would kill chicks quickly and leave a bigger bird with paralysis.

You could try putting her in a sling if she's able to move her legs. If her legs are completely paralyzed I would cull her unfortunately.

Im not completely sure that she doesn't has mereks i was just assuming it. And she didn't eat any maggots im pretty sure about that. Didn't try to put her in a sling. Her legs are completely shut down.

How old is your hen?

I'm sorry you lost the chicks, how old were they when they died?

Do you have confirmation that the chicks died from Marek's or do you have a history of Marek's in your flock?

Your hen may also be suffering from Marek's. The virus can cause paralysis. People with Marek's in their flock report that their birds do sometimes eat/drink very well even when their mobility is limited.
You can try making her a sling to help keep her upright for short, monitored periods of time. Provide supportive care by providing a nutritionally balanced, complete poultry feed and offer poultry vitamins that contain B2 a couple of times a week.

I found her lying on the road on constantly shaking her head and tail so i brought her home and some guys told me to give her a paracetamol dose and i did that. The next day the shaking was stopped but she wasn't able to walk. And she is not walking even today after 6weeks

I'm sorry that she is not doing well.
Was she a hen that you originally had or did you just find her like this 6wks ago?

If she has been like this for 6weeks, with no signs of improvement, you may want to start considering her future quality of life.

Yes. Didn't find any signs of improvement till now. I found her lying on street picked her and tried everything till now. And what do you mean by future? She will not recover?

Since she had chicks, I'm assuming that she was fine prior to being in the road. So, when you found her in the road, could she have been hit by a car?

Your first response might be that a car would have killed her, but that isn't true. I had a duck fly into the road and get hit. Through some miracle of fate he rolled and suffered no injury at all.

So, how sure are you that she didn't get hit by a car?

Well, i don't really know what happened, she was just lying there and the chicks were spread all around shouting for mama. As i said she was constantly shaking, i searched web and gave her a paracetamol. And she got well the next day but wasn't able to walk.
