Chicken egg color change!

I lost one of my Rhode Island Reds on Monday 6/9/08 died because of the heat, I Think. We checked her out but no other signs but she was burning up.

This last week the eggs have turned from dark brown to almost white. Why?

HELP! Why is the egg color changing to almost a white from dark brown? Is this a danger sign? I've already lost one of this flock.

Help! I needs to know why My eggs are turning white instead of brown and is this a sign of sickness.

Someone said it was due to extreme heat and they need more water. I dont think they are sick just environmental.

Thanks! This is new to me and I'm so scared i'm going to do something wrong. It just broke my heart that I didn't know what to do for her. She was one of my favorite ones Big Mommy! One of my brooders.
