Hi I need help I don't know if my chicken egg is fertile I see that the air sac has grown it's bubbly when I move the egg around it is on the big part of the egg, does that mean the egg is fertile? The yolk is in the top pointy part can y'all please help me it's been 12 days it's a brown egg I'm using my cellphone flash light to candel it

Looks like a non-starter to me.

It means the egg did not start to hatch for whatever reason. Whether it was fertile or not is unknown.

Also when candling hold the egg the other end up. The air sac on the top works better.

They say it takes 21 days to hatch and so should I throw it away before it starts to rought

Eggs should be positioned with the pointy end down. I agree with ralphie. It looks like a non-starter, meaning it failed to start developing.

Firstly ...where did you get the egg ?? Unusual to have only one ...how did u incubate it ?? Do you own a rooster? When incubating ...pointy side down ...and u talking about bubbles in the air sac ... has it been shaken up ?? Best guess .... toss it ...
