Wow, the new pic system takes a very long time!

I'm sorry it took so long. The roosters hot. His comb is normal for his type. He just looks hot. '
Suggest she move them to the shade, or cover/insulate their roof. The need air, a fan even, or shade. Lots of cool fresh water. Not too much protein in this season. Free range would be good, if they can choose a cool windy area.

My geese got so warm, I went and hosed them. They loved it.

PLEASE HELP!!!!
my baby araucana has been sneezing alot. its a sneeze with a high pitch sound to it.
i understand the high pitch because she is 13 wks old and growing into an adult. but what
with the sneezing. im worried about her sneezing.
can someone please tell what it is and how to cure it.
would it be the dust and dirt she rubbs around in, or is it the 40 degree.
heat. i doubt the heat cause the other chickens arnt doing it.

My chickens deal with forty-degree weather all the time, they're fine. I just reccomend you don't let them walk around when there's a lot of snow on the ground. Chickens get cold feet too! Also, chicken rub around in the dirt to keep parasite and other bugs out of their feathers so you shouldn't worry about that unless the coop always has that fine dirt filling the air. If if is I'd say to wet down the dirt a bit because chickens breathing that can get respiratory problems in the future. With the sneezing, I'm not too sure what I can do to help you. Just a tip, I've noticed that when they're eating they sometimes sorta choke a bit and sneeze in that high-pitched voice similar to how we choke when stuff goes down our pipe wrong. Oh, and you only want to have them outside when they have enough feathers to cover their whole body unless it's summer or something. So if you can and they haven't got enough feathers I might want to bring them back in. Just my thoughts though you might try getting advice from other people too.
