Chicken Enima

Has anyone ever given a chicken an enima? I talked with a vet on the phone and they instructed me to do this to help a hen evacuate some poop stuck in her vent. I did it (with dish soap and water) several times but she still clucks when straining to poop and I don't think the big piece came out yet. Any additional thoughts? (Did I just admit to giving a chicken an enima??? Who have i become???)

I wonder if the human product KY jelly (or generic version in Walmart etc) would work. It's washes out without leaving gunk like vaselene. It shouldn't hurt her and will make it slick, so maybe she can pass it out without more enemas.
