Chicken Entrance.

And another suggestion, make the ramp sturdy by adding extra wood. When making the ramp I used the cut out from the wall. I found that the cut out wasn't strong enough to support multiple chickens on it so I put that piece on plywood, traced it and cut out another same sized and shaped piece. Then I screwed these two pieces together then added boards for slip control. The ramp is very sturdy like this. The other stuff you see is the outside trim. And when I say I, I mean my boyfriend did... I watched (and provided commentary)

Only 1 probalem exsists- I have to some how close off the chickens so we can measure and work on a door. We can not let them run wild here. There are too many abandon cats that constantly roam around out yard and woods, and they look at our chickens like a good plate of food.

Agree with superchemicalgirl, I painted mine and it's trimmed undersized enough to seat when closed.
