We've let our girls free range in our front yard for five years to the delight of our neighbors. We have lots of cover and a garden fence, and they can get back to their coop at ant time, and we lock them up at night. All of them have been very happy...until JoJo. She first started getting out and scratching in our garden strip on the other side of the fence. We'd walk her back in through the gate. Recently, she has begun to cross the street to root around in the neighbors' MANICURED gardens!!! We'll clip her wings today, but I'm guessing that once this behavior starts, it's going to be hard to curb. Beyond clipping, any ideas?

If you clip her wings, make sure to only clip her wing. There's a difference between "wings" and "wing". Ok?

Well, if you still don't know what I mean... I will make it simple - only clip ONE wing.

BECAUSE ---- If you clip both the chicken will still be able to fly just like before. Clipping one will make it only be able to flutter a little.
