Hello Everyone,
I am not sure I put this in the right place but I would love your input on something that I was pondering tonight. When I rear up chicks normaly they go in a box with some food and water and thats about it, and honestly my chickens are not very bright. I was wondering if they where raised with more stimuli would I end up with a smarter chicken?
Could I treat Chicks more or less the same way I would raise parakeets? Swings, dangly toys and mirrors for stimulation? I want to raise a small group of my current chicks and see if I cant create a smarter adult chicks.
Do you think it would be possible to train chickens to solve simple problems in the name of earning treats? Like Hit the correct colours and open a little door and get some BOSS as a reward?
Does anyone use "bird" toys for there chickens? Do they like/ use them?
--Well it IS random AND rambling!
