We noticed our chicken's eye looked strange two days ago. It hasn't improved but she also isn't acting differently. What do we do? Any idea what it is? We've had her for a year and she's with 3 other chickens in a hoop coop that we move around. We aren't sure if something got in her eye or she was pecked. So far we've rinsed her eye out with water.

Welcome to BYC. It could be a peck wound or a corneal ulcer, and infection can happen. I would get her to your usual vet for eye drops (antibiotic plus corticosteroids.) If absolutely not possible, I would at least treat her eye 2-3 times a day with Terramycin eye ointment, plain Neosporin ointment or Vetericyn eye gel. Rinse her eye with saline or Bausch and Lomb eye wash before applying eye ointment.
