does anyone sell their eggs? If so, what’s your Price??

Does any hatch and sell chicks? If so, how does that work out for you and for how much??

I sell my hatching eggs for $20 a dozen. I don't sell chicks though. I wait until fall and sell juveniles after I've picked out what I want to save back for breeders.

I’m new to this so I’m not sure how to tell the fertilized and non-fertilized eggs apart.

Go on here, and google it, they have pictures. Keep track as you cook your eggs. Once the eggs you are cooking are at a high percentage of fertile, you can set eggs with confidence.

I sell eating eggs for $3.50dz to a few friends, collecting just enough to pay for feed.
Had great luck selling Olive Eggers pullet chicks this spring at the local mill for $10ea.
Also sold a few 11mo OE hens for $15ea.
It's all to support the hobby, I am certainly not a 'farmer'.
I am barely into the black over 5 years, and that's not counting the cost of coop, run, incubator, and some other equipment.

Bottom line, 'what price' depends on a lot of things...first off your local market and your selling savvy. Do some searches here on BYC, there are tons of threads about selling.
